In classic Poptropica style, we're going to master this game and use it to get the second clue. By now you should have the Elf Archer costume ready as described in this section. Jump onto the left side pedestal on the cart, and the two gofers will come out and wheel you in, thinking you're an Elf Archer statue. Now that you're. The anticipation for Poptropicon continues! Poptropicon will be the next Poptropica Island, and the creators have been busy keeping us guessing for a while with the Sneak Peeks and little tidbits here and there. The latest news is that three new items have been released into the store for Members only. They include two costumes.
We hoped you enjoyed playing December's Islands of the Month -- Wimpy Wonderland and PoptropiCon! Due to the holiday weekend these Islands are still officially IOTM through today, 1/2/17, so go enjoy them while you can! You'll definitely want to finish PoptropiCon's episodes because you'll get big credits for finishing EACH episode! 1st-time finishers can earn up to 1,500 credits and 1st-repeat finishers can earn up to 900 credits. Wow!
As always, yours truly did some digging to find some cool art from both our IOTM (check out these animations from Wimpy Wonderland) -- and you're not going to believe what I found from PoptropiCon's development!
Back in 2013, Poptropica Creators updated Poptropolis Games, and the artists working on the Island designed tribal costumes for it. The costumes were ultimately not used, but one in particular came in handy a year later. Read what happened in one of our Creators' own words (just click on the images to enlarge them)...
This is such a great example of how Poptropica Creators work closely together when developing an Island -- and how really great concepts from the development of one Island can come to life in another Island down the road!
Happy New Year, Poptropicans! We hope you had a nice Winter Break!
